Condition Aid to UNRWA: Introduce Fundamental Reforms.

David Bedein and the Center for Near East Policy Research are the foremost researchers on the subject of UNRWA education and the training of child soldiers. Their primary scholar who translates the Arabic school books, Dr. Arnon Groiss, is probably the most knowledgeable researcher of these books. In addition David and his team go into refugee camps and literally risk their lives creating films to back up the claims of child abuse by training those under 15 years of age to be soldiers.

This event is a MUST SEE for all followers of UNRWA: Stop Teaching Hate. It deserves a huge audience. David and his colleagues have been very gracious about sharing their work with our JNGO group and we thank him for that.

REFORMING UNRWA AT LINCOLN SQUARE SYNAGOGUE

In theory, UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) is a wonderful, kind, uncontroversial organization. Who could argue with its stated mission that it is a relief and human development agency? The reality is far less benign, though. Over the decades, UNRWA has perpetuated the Palestinian refuge crisis, it has misappropriated hundreds of millions of dollars of well-intended donations and has contributed to the violence in Gaza and the West Bank.

Come, learn more about this issue -- and what is being done about it -- on Sunday, March 24 at 11:00 am at Lincoln Square Synagogue in a program titled Reforming UNRWA – The Master Initiative.
